What is my expected ROI for working with Eagle?
One nice thing about return on investment, or ROI, is that it’s not subjective. You can objectively measure dollars, customers, contracts, and products. Discussing which metrics are most important to you, and how quickly you want to move each, are among the things we delve into during early workshops.
Are you focused most on revenue? Or transferable value? Gross margins? Something else? It doesn’t need to be limited to financial metrics. Labor efficiency ratio (LER) is another favorite metric we can track. As advisors, figuring out a customized roadmap to more freedom, higher revenue and profits, and, more importantly, transferrable value, is what we do.
Some metrics aren’t strictly numerical. You can track how the team is feeling once they are aligned and heading in the same direction. How has company culture and morale improved now that team members have more time thanks to new efficiencies?

What about freedom? Surely “freedom” is a subjective concept and cannot be measured, right? Well, how many days off a month do you get? How many phone calls do you, personally, have to take each day to operate your business?
One measure we like to focus on at Eagle is how many days an owner can spend away from the office, with full confidence that the business will run well independently. When you go camping or take a cruise, are you worried things will fall apart if you stay an extra day? Or an extra week?
It’s been our experience that once owners get a taste of that kind of freedom, their world changes. It can lead to a chain reaction of events, in one’s business and personal life:
- Improved overall confidence in how the business is running
- More time to consider bolder strategic moves
- Increased job satisfaction from top to bottom
- More room for talented team members to excel with new responsibilities
- More time to develop hobbies and outside interests
- More time with family, including grandchildren
These improvements are all things we can track, and they feed into the metric we are always working toward: the highest possible transferable value for your business.
